How to download a Tide statement

Monthly statements

Tide says statements are issued on the 4th of each following month, in the app. In the app, go to Bank account, tap Account statements, choose the month or months, and tap Share to save the PDF.

Custom date range

In the app, go to Bank account, then Statements and documents, Account Statements, Custom date range. Tide sets these limits: the end date must be at least 3 days ago, each statement can cover up to 6 months, and if a statement has more than 2,000 transactions Tide emails you a secure download link instead.

Exporting transactions to CSV

In the app: tap Pay, then View more under your transactions, filter the transactions, tap the Share icon, choose a CSV type and export. On the web: go to Accounts, choose the account, click the funnel icon to filter, then Export and choose a CSV type. Tide says the "Standard, cleared only" option shows your cleared balance after each transaction.

When a converter still helps

If you can log in to Tide, its own CSV export is usually the quickest route to a spreadsheet. A converter helps when all you have is a Tide PDF, for example one sent to your accountant.

Turning the PDF into a spreadsheet

Once you have the PDF, you can drop it into our statement converter for an Excel file, or the PDF to CSV converter for a CSV file. The statement is read inside your own browser and is never uploaded. The converter checks that the running balance adds up and highlights any rows that need a second look. Scanned or photographed statements, and password-protected PDFs, cannot be read.
