How to download a Nationwide bank statement

In the Nationwide app

Nationwide says you can view and download statements from the last 36 months from My Documents, where you can also find letters about your accounts.

In the internet bank

1. Log in to the internet bank.
2. Choose the Documents tab.
3. Choose Statements.
4. Under View by account, select the account you want.

Nationwide says: You can download up to 36 months of your past statements as PDF files. It also says that if you need more than one statement, you repeat the steps for each one.

Months with no statement

Nationwide says it will not send a statement if the balance is zero and you made no transactions in the previous month, so a gap in the list may be normal.

Older than 36 months

The online limit is 36 months. For anything older, you will need to ask Nationwide.

Turning the PDF into a spreadsheet

Once you have the PDF, you can drop it into our statement converter for an Excel file, or the PDF to CSV converter for a CSV file. The statement is read inside your own browser and is never uploaded. The converter checks that the running balance adds up and highlights any rows that need a second look. Scanned or photographed statements, and password-protected PDFs, cannot be read.
