How to download a Lloyds bank statement

In the Lloyds app

1. Log in and select the account you want.
2. Select the three-dot menu.
3. Select 'Download or print statement'.

Lloyds says: In our app, you can go back at least ten years.

In online banking

1. Log in and select 'Statement options' from your account page.
2. Choose to print or download.

Lloyds says: In online banking, you can access statements up to 7 years old. So for an older statement, use the app.

Credit card statements

Lloyds says a credit card statement cannot be downloaded in online banking. You can download a PDF credit card statement in the app, or ask for one using Lloyds' online chat.

Paper copies

You can order a paper statement in the app or online banking. Lloyds says it can take up to ten working days to arrive.

Halifax customers

Halifax, part of the same banking group, uses the same steps and the same limits (seven years online, at least ten years in the app). Halifax also says its brand is changing to Lloyds, and that you can use the Lloyds app with your Halifax account details.

Turning the PDF into a spreadsheet

Once you have the PDF, you can drop it into our statement converter for an Excel file, or the PDF to CSV converter for a CSV file. The statement is read inside your own browser and is never uploaded. The converter checks that the running balance adds up and highlights any rows that need a second look. Scanned or photographed statements, and password-protected PDFs, cannot be read.
