How to download a Barclays bank statement
Barclays keeps your statements in the Barclays app and in Online Banking, and you save them as PDF files.
In the Barclays app
Barclays says: In your app, go to 'Help' on your home page, then select 'Statements'.
Another Barclays help page calls the same menu 'Help/More'. If you have a business account, Barclays says you can select 'Statements' from your home page.
In Online Banking
- Log in to Online Banking.
- Select 'Manage accounts'.
- Select 'Statements and documents'.
To keep a copy, Barclays says you can save your statement by selecting the PDF icon in the toolbar or under the 'File' menu

How far back you can go
Barclays says: We have automatically uploaded electronic copies of your statements from July 2013.
If you registered for online statements before July 2013, you can see statements from the date you registered.
Before you start
You need to be registered for Online Banking or the Barclays app. Barclays reminds you to keep any statement you save on your own device secure.
Turning the PDF into a spreadsheet
Once you have the PDF, you can drop it into our statement converter for an Excel file, or the PDF to CSV converter for a CSV file. The statement is read inside your own browser and is never uploaded. The converter checks that the running balance adds up and highlights any rows that need a second look. Scanned or photographed statements, and password-protected PDFs, cannot be read.
